DECAVIT FORTE (solution for oral use)

Liquid of light pink to dark pink colour with a specific odour of the ingredients; slight sediment and opalescence may occur.

1 ml of feed mixture contains:

- vitamin A (retinol acetate) - 20 000 IU;

- vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) - 2000 IU;

- vitamin E (α-tocopherol acetate) – 30,0 mg;

- glycerol – 25,0 mg;

- propylene glycol – 25,0 mg;

- vitamin C (ascorbic acid) – 20,0 mg;

- calcium pantothenate (vitamin B5) – 8,0 mg;

- vitamin K3 (menadione) – 4,0 mg;

- vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride) – 4,0 mg;

- vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) – 4,0 mg;

- L-lysine – 2,5 mg;

- vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) – 60,0 µg;

- purified water - up to 1,0 ml.

DECAVIT FORTE is a combined multivitamin feed mixture whose effect is determined by its composition.

Vitamin A (retinol acetate) maintains the structure of the epithelium of mucous membranes and the visual organ, increases the resistance and stability of the body to infectious diseases, stimulates growth and reproductive function of females and males, prevents resorption of the foetus and developmental defects.

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) stimulates absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the intestine and their reabsorption from primary urine, synthesis of calcitonin, proteins of the organic matrix of bone tissue and its mineralisation, maintains calcium and phosphorus homeostasis, affects the formation and functional maturity of foetal organs.

Vitamin E (α-tocopherol acetate) is a natural antioxidant, prevents formation of peroxidative compounds, protects cell membranes from destruction by lipid peroxidation products, activates enzymes of the antioxidant system, synthesis of myoglobin and haemoglobin, prevents infertility, has a positive effect on foetal development, prevents myodystrophy and white muscle disease, and in chickens, ducklings and turkey poults prevents encephalomalacia and exudative diathesis.

Vitamin K3 (menadione), by influencing the synthesis of prothrombin, proconvertin and thromboplastin, plays an important role in blood coagulation and prevents the development of haemorrhagic diathesis.

Vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride) is a component of enzymes (carboxylase, transketolase, pyruvate decarboxylase) involved in the Krebs cycle, carbohydrate and protein metabolism, and prevents the development of cortical cerebral necrosis.

Vitamin B5 (calcium pantothenate) is required for synthesis of coenzyme A (CoA), which plays a leading role in carbohydrate and fat metabolism, functioning of the Krebs cycle, synthesis of citric acid, acetylcholine, steroid hormones, bile acids, oxidation of fatty acids and metabolism of short-chain fatty acids in the forestomachs of ruminants.

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) is a prosthetic group of enzymes that catalyse synthesis of amino acids and fat and is involved in the synthesis of adrenaline and noradrenaline, serotonin, histamine and nucleic acids.

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) is involved in haematopoiesis, synthesis of methionine and choline and nucleic acids, has a lipotropic effect, stimulates the protein-synthesising function of the liver and activates synthesis of proteins and retinol.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) stimulates absorption of iron and its incorporation into the haem molecule, maturation of erythrocytes, collagen formation, ensures integrity of vascular walls and prevents haemorrhages, stimulates synthesis of corticosteroids in adrenal glands and hormones of the thyroid, pancreas and gonads.

L-lysine is an essential amino acid involved in mineral, nitrogen and carbohydrate metabolism.

Prevention of vitamins A, D, E, K and group B hypovitaminosis, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis, urate and haemorrhagic diathesis, rickets, osteodystrophy, encephalomalacia, muscular dystrophy, cortical cerebral necrosis, perosis and anaemia in farm and domestic animals and poultry.

DECAVIT FORTE increases non-specific resistance, productivity and reproductive function, normalises metabolism, accelerates recovery of animals after diseases and stress, stimulates growth and development of animals and prevents embryonic mortality.

- hens, turkeys, ducks, quails, parent stock before the onset of laying – 0,25–0,5 ml, during the laying period – 0,5–1,0 ml;

- chickens, broilers, turkey poults, ducklings, quail chicks up to 21 days of age and replacement young – 0,25–0,5 ml;

- broilers, turkeys, ducks, quails over 3 weeks of age - 1–1,5 ml;

- ornamental birds – 0,25–0,5 ml.

- calves up to one month of age - 5 ml with milk from 3–5 to 30 days of age;

- dry cows - 20–25 ml with water 3–4 weeks before calving;

- lactating cows - 25–30 ml with water during the first three weeks of lactation;

- pregnant sows - 4–5 ml with water in the last month of pregnancy;

- lactating sows – 7,5 ml with water until weaning of piglets;

- pregnant ewes and goats – 1,5–2 ml with water in the last month of pregnancy;

- lactating ewes and goats – 2,5 ml with water in the first month of lactation;

- pregnant mares – 7,5 ml with water in the last month of pregnancy;

- lactating mares - 10–12,5 ml with water in the first month of lactation;

- lambs and kids – 0,5 ml with milk during the first 30 days;

- piglets weighing 6–12 kg - with water, once, 1,25–1,50 ml 5 days before weaning from the sow and 1,5–2 ml 2–3 times within 10–15 days after weaning;

- dogs, cats, fur-bearing animals – 0,25–0,5 ml.
