International practical forum PIGS FARMING INDUSTRY: maintain profitability

On April 21–22, 2026, took place the International Practical Forum PIGS FARMING INDUSTRY: Maintaining Profitability, organized by The Ukrainian Farmer magazine. The event brought together 317 participants - the best experts and leading specialists in the pig farming industry with many years of experience. The team of “VETSINTEZ” LLC also took part in the event as a forum partner.

During the forum, participants were presented with industry prospects, ways to create added value for products, effective methods of facility sanitation, and experience in combating infectious diseases.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Oleksandr Deshchenko, Ph.D., and livestock consultant at “VETSINTEZ” LLC, represented the company with a presentation titled: “An Effective Alternative to Feed Antibiotics in Pig Farming.” In his speech, he addressed changes in the rules for antibiotic use in pig farming and animal husbandry in general, related to the new Law of Ukraine “On Veterinary Medicine and Animal Welfare.” As an alternative to antibiotics, products based on alpha-monolaurin were proposed, in particular the innovative product “Laurit-90.” During the presentation, participants were introduced to its properties and advantages.
