CHARACTERS

A light yellow to dark yellow suspension with a characteristic odor of the components, is layered when stored.

COMPOSITION

1 mL of suspension contains:

Active substances:

- Triamcinolonе – 1,0 mg;

- Pyridoxine hydrochloride – 2,0 mg;

- Riboflavin – 4,0 mg;

- Nicotinamide – 10,0 mg;

- Methionine – 20,0 mg;

- Succinic acid – 2,0 mg.

Excipients:

Xanthan gum, Tween 80, sodium benzoate, sucralose, glycerol, flavor, purified water: Q.S. to 1,0 mL. 

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

This medicinal product, thanks to the existence in its composition of a high effective anti-inflammatory component, vitamins, methionine, and succinic acid, exerts a comprehensive effect on a irritated skin; eliminates rapidly unpleasant dry feeling, itch (irritation), and discomfort in animals. Triamcinolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that exerts a pronounced anti-inflammatory, desensitization, and antineoplastic action. Its mechanism of action consists in blocking the release of inflammation mediators, including prostaglandins that potentiate the inflammatory process. Group B vitamins, succinic acid, and methionine improve metabolism and histotrophic nutrition; promote to speeding up healing processes; reduce an inflammatory reaction, and have a combined favorable influence on the skin and hair state. In terms of the degree of effect on the haematherms, the medicinal product belongs to low-hazard substances.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

To treat dogs and cats suffering from skin inflammatory and allergic diseases such as atopic dermatitis, eczema, diffuse neurodermatitis, scratches, alopecia, and reactions to bites of insects.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

The medicinal product is administered orally to animals during morning feeding with a small quantity of feed or administered in a forced manner using a syringe dispenser once a day at the following daily dose levels:

During the first 4 days, use the medicinal product at the therapeutic dose; during the next following 8 days, use the medicinal product at the ½ therapeutic dose. The treatment course may be extended at vet’s discretion.

Avoid the intake of the medicinal product from being missed for this may result in reduction in its efficacy.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any excipient of the medicinal product.

Do not use in animals suffering from diabetes mellitus and viral infections.

It is not recommended to use the medicinal product in pregnant and lactating females, as well as in puppies and kittens of up to 8 weeks of age.

The medicinal product is not intended for use in food-producing animals.

PRECAUTIONS

If the medicinal product is used as directed in the package insert, no adverse reaction or complication is, generally, observed in the animals treated. Depression, torpidity, hypersalivation, gastrointestinal tract disorders have been reported in some animals with individual hypersensitivity to the medicinal product components. In such events, terminate using the medicinal product and, if required, prescribe symptomatic therapy.

If the medicinal product is used for the first time, hypersalivation has been rarely reposted, which disappears quickly and requires no use of medicinal products.

Do not combine with any other medicinal products for external use that contain corticosteroid hormones.

HOW SUPPLIED

10-mL and 15-mL neutral glass (Makes НС-1, НС-2, УСП-1) vials, fitted with rubber septa, sealed with aluminum crimp caps or polymeric vials closed with plastic caps. A 2.0-mL or 2.5-ml syringe. Secondary package: cartons.

STORAGE

Store at a dry place protected from light at between 5 °С and 25 °С. Keep out of reach of children.

12 months.
