Description
Liquid from colorless to brownish-yellowish color, opalescence is permissible.Composition
1 ml of the preparation contains active substance:toltrazuril - 25 mg.
Auxiliary substances: triethanolamine, polyethyleneglycol.
Pharmacological properties
ATCvet QP51, antiprotozal veterinary preparations (QP51AJ01, toltrazuril)Active substance of the preparation toltrazuril (symmetrical triazinetrione) – effective eimeriostat.
Toltrazuril disturbs intracellular stages of eimeria development, affecting on meronts, micro- and macrogametes. Disturbs the process of nuclear fission of eimeria and decreases activity of mitochondria responsible for respiratory metabolism.
After oral administration of the preparation, toltrazuril is slowly absorbed in alimentary tract of poultry. In organism of animals toltrazuril is partially metabolized with forming of sulfoxide-and sulphon derivatives. Further – almost completely excreted with feces in unchanged form or in the form of toltrazurilsulphon or toltrazurilsulfoxide.
The preparation has no mutagenic, carcinogenic and teratogenic action.
Application
Treatment of hens (broiler chicken, replacement chickens), turkeys at eimeriosis caused by eimeria sensitive to toltrazuril:in hens: Eimeria acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mitis, E. necatrix, E. tenella;
in turkeys: Eimeria adenoides, E. meleagridis, E. meleagrimitis.
Dosing
Before application the preparation is thoroughly mixed with drinking water and fed to poultry during 2 days at a dose of 7 mg of toltrazuril for 1 kg of body mass (28 ml of the preparation for 100 kg of poultry body mass) per day which corresponds to daily preparation application calculated as 1 ml of the preparation for 1 l of drinking water when feeding during 24 hours or 3 ml of the preparation for 1 l of water when feeding during 8 hours per day two weeks in a row.In case of sediment appearance, the solution prior to use should be thoroughly shaken.
For effective treatment the preparation is recommended to apply to poultry before clinical signs of disease arising – during incubation period.
Contra-indications
Increased sensation to toltrazuril!Is not applied to laying hens, eggs of which are intended for use for human consumption!
Warning
Slaughter of poultry for meat is permitted in 5 days after last application of the preparation. Obtained before specified period meat is disposed or fed to non-productive animals, depending on conclusion of veterinary medicine doctor.Personnel dealing with the preparation must adhere to the general rules of hygiene and safety adopted when working with veterinary preparations. In case of accidental contact of the preparation with skin or eyes rinse with water immediately. During working with the preparation smoking, drinking and eating is prohibited.

Vials of neutral glass mark NS-1, NS-2, USP-1 or polymeric of 100, 200 ml.Containers (vials) polymeric according to TU U 23455985-001 of 1 l. Polymeric canisters of 5 l.
Storage
Dry, dark, out of the reach of
children place at a temperature from 5°C to 25°C. After first withdrawal from
the vial the preparation should be used within 3 months, under conditions of
storing in a dark place at a temperature from 5 to 25 °С.Shelf life
24 months from date of manufacture.
