Pharmacological properties
ATCvet classification code: QD07АВ Glucocorticoids, moderately potent (group II). QD07AB09 Triamcinolone.
The product, due to the presence of a highly effective anti-inflammatory component, B-group vitamins, methionine and succinic acid, exerts a complex effect on irritated skin and rapidly relieves unpleasant sensations of dryness, pruritus and discomfort in animals. Triamcinolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid with pronounced anti-inflammatory, desensitizing and anti-edematous effects, mediated by inhibition of the release of inflammatory mediators, including prostaglandins, which potentiate the inflammatory process. B-group vitamins, succinic acid and methionine improve metabolism and tissue trophism, promote acceleration of healing processes, reduce the inflammatory response and exert a complex positive effect on the condition of the skin and hair coat. According to the degree of impact on the body of warm-blooded animals, the product is classified as a low-hazard substance.
Indications
Treatment of dogs and cats with inflammatory and allergic skin diseases (atopic, allergic, contact dermatitis, eczema, diffuse neurodermatitis, pruritus, alopecia, reactions to insect bites)
