COMPOSITION

Most highly purified fish oil, gelatin, glycerol, purified water, vitamin Е, vitamin А, vitamin D3.

A 1-g capsule contained a warranted composition:

Vitamin A – 400 IU;

Vitamin D3 – 100 IU;

Vitamin E – 4 IU;

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) – 180.0 mg;

Docosahexanoic acid (DHA) – 120.0 mg.

A 0.5-g capsule contained a warranted composition:

Vitamin А – 200 IU;

Vitamin D3 – 50 IU;

Vitamin E – 2 IU;

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) – 90.0 mg;

Docosahexanoic acid (DHA) – 60.0 mg.

A 0.25-g capsule contained a warranted composition:

Vitamin А – 100 IU;

Vitamin D3 – 25 IU;

Vitamin E – 1 IU;

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) – 45.0 mg;

Docosahexanoic acid (DHA) – 30.0 mg.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Perfect VIT&MIN Omega 3+ contains Omega-3 fatty acids (polyunsaturated fatty acids, PUFAs) and antioxidants that promote lipid metabolism and blood thinning; exerts a cardioprotective effect; contribute to the support of brain activity and cognitive functions; maintain the skin healthy; and improve hair state. The medicinal product helps to accelerate the molting process, stimulates both growth and development of animals. A regular application of the PUFAs promotes the improvement of uptake and increase in the activity of the other vitamins: vitamin А (retinol), group B vitamins, vitamin D, and vitamin E (tochopherol). Omega-3 fatty acids, such as DHA (docosahexanoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), are contained in fish oil in large quantities.

Eicosapentaenoic acid exerts a favorable effect of the cardiovascular system; prevents the development of atherosclerosis and thrombosis and the occurrence of inflammatory processes in the body, including in skins and the musculoskeletal system.

Docosahexanoic acid improves brain cell functioning and is particularly important for the development of the brain and retina in puppies and kittens; promotes the maintenance of brain activity productivity when training intensively and at trainings before shows and competitions. 

The Omega-3 fatty acids, including linoleic acid, help to maintain the fluid balance of the epidermic layer of skin in the normal condition. The PUFAs fight against inflammatory processes in the body; are of essence in the prophylaxis of musculoskeletal system diseases, radiculitis, and osteochondrosis; help to reduce inflammatory reactions of the skin in dogs and cats. 

Vitamin A is a lipid soluble antioxidant, which is necessary to maintain the normal condition of skin, prevents vision problems, and improve the immunity. Vitamin D3 plays a leading role in the process of skeletal system growth and development, and is required for the uptake of calcium, fluorine, and phosphorus. Vitamin T is a lipid soluble antioxidant, which protects cellular membranes from becoming oxidized by free radicals and promotes cell heath.

The medicinal product is manufactured in the form of capsules, which protect its ingredients from becoming oxidized, and they are easy to give to dogs and cats.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

The medicinal product is used to prevent and treat inflammatory and allergic lesions of skin; gastrointestinal diseases; vitamin А, D3, E insufficiency; to accelerate bone tissue formation in bone fractures; in ligament and joint diseases; in chronic infections, anemia, sexual problems in cats and dogs; to improve the growth and development of puppies and kittens; to improve the immunity, to improve skin and hair condition; to exert a favorable effect on the cardiovascular system; to improve cognitive functions when upbringing and training animals. The medicinal product is used as a general tonic during a recovery period and for debilitated animals.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

Give the medicinal product directly to animals to eat. A capsule may be pierced, and its content mixed with a portion of delicacy.

One 1.0-g capsule (or 2 0.5-g capsules or 4 0.25-g capsules) per 15-30 kg body weight per day. One 0.5-g capsule (or 2 0.25-g capsules) per 5-15 kg body weight per day. One 0.25-g capsule per animal of up to 5 kg in body weight per day. Administer for not less than 4-6 weeks. 

Continue administration if required. Do not exceed the recommended dose levels of the medicinal product.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

None reported.

Do not combine with other medicinal products containing lipid soluble vitamins А, D, and Е.

Do not use in case of severe form of diabetes in animals, in case of violation of blood coagulation function.

Do not use if allergic to fish products.

PRECAUTIONS

Any unused medicinal product or its residues should be disposed of in accordance with local laws and regulations.

HOW SUPPLIED

Capsules of 0.5 g, 1 g of 50 and 100 pieces in polymer cans (containers), or capsules of 0.25, 0.5 g, 1.0 g, packed in blisters of 10 pieces of 3 or 5 blisters in packaging complete with postcard inserts, secondary packaging - a cardboard box.

STORAGE

Store at a dry place protected from light at between 5 °С and 25 °С.
