Composition

diclazuril - 2,5 mg
Pharmacological Properties
ATC vet QP 51, antiprotozoal veterinary products
Diclazuril as a component of the
medicinal product has a wide spectrum of anticoccidial effect, effective
against all kinds of eimeria in poultry (Eimeria tenella, E. acervulina, E. Brunett, E. maxima, E. mitis, E.
necatrix, E. adenoides, E. gallopavonis, E. meleagrimitis т.д.), rabbits (E.
flavescens, E. intestinalis, E. magna, E. perforans, E. stidae и др.), horned
cattle (Е. bovis и Е. zuernii), sheep
and goats (Е. arloingii, Е, аhsata, E.
faurei).
Diclazuril is chemically synthesized coccidiostatic
agent of benzenacetonitril class. The mode of action lies in disturbance of the
processes of intercellular metabolism in the parasite cell leading to eimeria
death. Administered perorally, diclazuril is very little absorbed in digestive
tract and has anticoccidial effect on mucous and submucous intestine membranes.
Diclazuril is not metabolized and is egested almost unchanged with fecal
matter.
REYCOX is referred to low toxic
substances (3rd safety class) in terms of organism exposure and is
well tolerated by poultry and stock in the recommended dosage, has no
mutagenous, cancerogenic, fetotoxic and teratogenic effect. It is compatible
with vitamins and feed additives used in veterinary medicine.
