- Piperonyl butoxide – 26 mg
- D-trans Tetramethrin – 4 mg
Auxiliary substances: Tricosane, Tensopol, Hydrolyzed proteins, Lactose, Sugar.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
ATCvet classification code: QP53 - Ectoparasiticides, Insecticides, and Repellents.
Flycidol-VS has a broad spectrum of insecticidal activity, ensuring the destruction of insects immediately after the application of the product.
Cypermethrin belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids. Its mechanism of action involves disrupting the permeability of cell membranes and blocking nerve impulse transmission, leading to a lack of coordination, paralysis, and quick insect death.
Piperonyl butoxide, though not an insecticide itself, significantly enhances the effectiveness of pyrethroids by inactivating insect enzymes that break down pyrethroids in their bodies.
D-trans Tetramethrin, when absorbed by insects, acts on the nervous system, causing a disturbance in potassium and sodium ion exchange in the presynaptic membrane. This leads to the excessive release of acetylcholine as a nerve impulse passes through the synaptic membrane, causing strong excitation of the insects, followed by paralysis.
The duration of the final effect on outdoor areas is 4-6 weeks, and on surfaces in buildings, it lasts 6-8 weeks.
When taken orally, the product is classified as moderately hazardous (Class 3), and when applied to the skin, it is classified as low hazard (Class 4) for warm-blooded animals.
The working aqueous solution does not have sensitizing or skin-absorbing effects.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
The product is used for the destruction of flies on various objects, including livestock facilities. It can also be used for controlling cockroaches and fleas.
For application, the product can be applied using a cold fog generator, household aerosol sprayer, or applied with a brush.
The working solution should be prepared immediately before use.
Spraying with a generator: 2 liters of the working solution can treat approximately 100 m². It is sufficient to treat 30% of the surface by spraying in circles with a diameter of 10 cm or squares of 10 × 30 cm.
In areas with a high number of insects, it is recommended to apply the product in strips of 10 cm wide.
Brushing: 2 liters of the working solution can treat 200 m². It is sufficient to treat 30% of the surface by applying the solution with a brush in circles with a diameter of 10 cm or squares of 10 × 30 cm. In areas with a high number of insects, it is recommended to apply the solution with a brush in strips of 10 cm wide.

Flycidol-VS should be mixed with the necessary amount of water and stirred constantly and evenly for 5 minutes.
The prepared working solution should be applied to areas preferred by insects (walls, external surfaces of stalls, window frames, windowsills, doors, posts, parts of fences, pipes, milk pipelines, and other surfaces).
The effect is considered positive when the effectiveness is equal to or exceeds 90% for endophilic species and 70% for exophilic species.
PRECAUTIONS
Before use, the solution should be thoroughly mixed. If the process is interrupted for more than 30 minutes, the solution should be re-mixed.
The prepared solution should be used on the same day it is made.
Flycidol-VS should not be applied to heavily soiled, highly porous, or freshly painted surfaces.
Do not treat surfaces that will come into contact with livestock products, food, feed, or drinking troughs.
Animals should be removed from the premises during treatment. The premises can be used again once the treated surfaces are dry.
If it is impossible to remove the animals, the working solution can be applied to strips of cardboard, plywood, or polyethylene and placed on walls or hung from the ceiling in areas inaccessible to animals. In livestock premises, additional treatments should be performed in the spring and summer with products that destroy insect larvae to prevent or reduce the emergence of a new generation of insects.
To enhance effectiveness, it is recommended to dissolve Flycidol-VS in water that is free of chlorine and peroxides.
The product is toxic to bees!
Personnel preparing the working solutions must wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles.
Eating, drinking, and smoking during work are prohibited, and direct contact with the eyes or skin should be avoided. Inhalation of the product should be avoided.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use simultaneously with other insecticidal products.
Do not treat areas located within 500 meters of the floodplain of fishery or drinking water bodies, and comply with the water protection zone regulations for rivers, ponds, lakes, reservoirs, and the first and second sanitary protection zones of water supply sources and air intake devices.
When treating natural territories, livestock grazing, and the collection of berries and mushrooms on the treated land is allowed no earlier than 40 days after treatment.
Do not treat nesting sites or concentrations of wild birds.
