DESCRIPTION

Oily, transparent liquid with light-yellow to yellow color, with specific odor of the components.

COMPOSITION

Each 1 ml contains the active ingredient:
tylosin tartrate – 200.0 mg.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Tilosin – macrolide antibiotic, active against the gram-negative and gram-positive microorganisms (Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Diplococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp., Clostridium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Neisseria spp., Bacteriodes nodosus, Moraxella bovis, Pasteurella spp., Spirocheta spp.). Particularly sensitive to tilosin mycoplasmas (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Mycoplasma synoviae, Mycoplasma meleagridis, Mycoplasma agalactiae, Mycoplasma bovigenitalium), and also chlamydias and rickettsia.

The mechanism of action of the preparation is to block protein synthesis in bacterial cells by forming a complex with the 50S – subunits of ribosomes.

INDICATIONS

Cattle: treatment from gastroenteritis, diphtheria, necrotic pododermatitis, metritis, mastitis, arthritis and pneumonia caused by micro-organisms sensitive to tylosin.

Sheep, goats: treatment from bronchopneumonia, interstitial pneumonia, pleuropneumonia, contagious ahalaktis, chlamydial abortion micoplasmatic arthritis caused by microorganisms sensitive to tylosin.

Pigs: treatment from enzootic bronchopneumonia, erysipelas, dysentery, leptospirosis, MMA syndrome, atrophic rhinitis, micoplasmati and staphylococcal arthritis caused by microorganisms sensitive to tylosin.

Dogs: treatment from pneumonia, rhinitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, otitis media, eczema, cystitis, metritis, biogenic dermatitis, leptospirosis, caused by pathogens sensitive to tylosin.

DOSAGE

Intramuscularly, once a day in following doses:

Cattle – 0.25 ml of the preparation per 10 kg of body weight;

Sheep, goats – 0.5 ml of the preparation per 10 kg of body weight;

Pigs – 0.5 ml of the preparation per 10 kg of body weight;

Dogs – 0.1 - 0.5 ml of the preparation per 10 kg of body weight.

Treatment course: 3 – 5 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to tylosin.
Do not use in horses.
Do not use simultaneously with penicillins, cephalosporins and lincomicin.
Do not use in animals with impaired liver and kidney functions.

PRECAUTIONS

Animals may only be slaughtered for meat not earlier than 21 days after the last treatment and for milk– 4 days.

HOW SUPPLIED

Neutral glass vials of 10-mL, 20-mL, 50-mL,100-mL and 200 mL, closed by a rubber stopper and sealed with an aluminum cover. Secondary package: carton box.

STORAGE

Dry, dark, inaccessible to children place at temperature from 5°C to 25°C.
Shelf life – 2 years.
After the first selection from the vial, the preparation should be used within 14 days, provided storage in a dark place at a temperature of 0°C to 5°C.
