Pneumosept (powder for oral administration)

Pneumosept (powder for oral administration)
Ingredients: Spectinomycin hydrochloride, Lincomycin hydrochloride, Florfenicol
Application: oral
Type of formulation: antibiotic

DESCRIPTION

Powder from white to grayish color with specific odor of the components.

COMPOSITION

Each 1 g contains the active substance:
spectinomycin hydrochloride (spectinomycin-base) - 22.0 mg;
Lincomycin hydrochloride (lincomycin-base) - 22.0 mg;
Florfenicol - 50.0 mg.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Pneumosept is a combined preparation containing three antibiotics.

Lincomycin - a lincosamide antibiotic. It acts on Gram-positive organisms such as: Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Bacillus anthracis, Corynebacterium spp., some types Nocardis spp. and Actinomyces spp. Especially effective against Serpulina hyodysenteriae and Mycoplasma spp. Lincomycin is inhibition of protein synthesis at the ribosomal subunit 50S.

Spectinomycin – amino-cyclic antibiotic. Acting primarily on Gram-negative bacteria, including Е. coli, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella spp., Clostridium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Haemophylus spp., Vibrio spp.,, And Mycoplasma spp.. Spectinomycin cause inhibition of protein synthesis at the level of ribosomal subunit 30S.

Lincomycin and spectinomycin act synergistically in vitro against anaerobes in the pathogenesis of swine dysentery.

Florfenicol – from group fenicoles group antibiotic, active against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, including: Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Enterobacter spp., E. coli, Pasteurella haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Pasteurella piscicida, Vibrio spp., Haemophilus somnus, Haemophilus parasuis, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Bacteroides melaninogenicus, A. pleuropneumoniae, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Salmonella spp., Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Shigella spp. and others).

The mechanism of florfenicol action is to bound with 70S ribosomes and blocking protein synthesis in the bacterial cell.

Pigs: treatment of animals suffering from mycoplasmosis, eperitrozoonozom, lavsoniozami, syndrome of mastitis-metritis-agalactia, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, dysentery, pleuropneumonia, atrophic rhinitis disease Glessera (gemofileznogo polyserositis), pasteurellosis, as well as in diseases of the digestive tract and breathing caused microorganisms sensitive to lincomycin, spectinomycin and florfenicol.

Poultry (broilers, rearing poultry): the treatment of poultry with chronic respiratory syndrome (CRD), associated with Mycoplasma, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis, salmonellosis and in diseases of the respiratory and digestive tract caused by microorganisms sensitive to lincomycin, spectinomycin and florfenicol.

DOSAGE
