1 g of the product contains the active ingredient:
- Nozigeptid – 10.0 mg
Excipients: Calcium carbonate.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
ATC vet classification code QA07A – Antimicrobial veterinary medicines used for intestinal infections.
The active ingredient, Nozigeptid, is an antibiotic from the polypeptide group. It has a bactericidal effect on gram-positive microorganisms, such as Clostridium perfringens, Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., as well as on some gram-negative microorganisms, such as Pasteurella multocida and Neisseria catarrhalis.
The mechanism of action of the antibiotic involves disrupting bacterial protein synthesis, particularly by acting on the 50S ribosomal subunit, strongly binding the 23S rRNA complex with the ribosomal protein L11.
Bacterial resistance to Nozigeptid develops slowly, and resistance has not been observed in Clostridium perfringens. No cross-resistance to Nozigeptid has been found in microorganisms with other antibacterial drugs.
Nozigeptid is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, so it acts solely on the intestinal flora. A high concentration of Nozigeptid is maintained in the gastrointestinal tract, providing a prolonged antibacterial effect. It does not accumulate in tissues and is excreted unchanged with feces.
INDICATIONS
For the treatment of pet birds (canaries, parrots, pigeons) suffering from gastrointestinal diseases, including necrotic enteritis caused by microorganisms sensitive to Nozigeptid.

Canaries, parrots, pigeons: 0.2–0.25 g of the product per 1 kg of feed for 5–7 days.
The medicated feed should be the only source of food during the entire course of treatment.
If necessary, the treatment course can be repeated.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to Nozigeptid.
