Research-to-practice conference of the LLC "VETSINTEZ"

On April 19-20 in Khrakiv, the LLC "Vetsintez" once again held a large-scale two-day research-to-practice conference on the subject of: "Main infectious diseases at livestock farms of Ukraine and modern ways to combat them".

On April 19, the research part of the conference was held. The event was held in two sections:

- in the field of cattle farming, the issues of innovative reproduction methods, methods of combating and preventing major infectious diseases, milking care and hygiene, prevention and treatment of mastitis, cattle orthopedics were considered;

- in the field of pig farming, the issues of pig reproductive system diseases and ways to solve them, effective methods for preventing parvovirus, leptospirosis and erysipelas of pigs, sorting and care for suckling piglets were considered.

 The speakers at the Conference were:

- Head of the Department of Livestock Reproduction Biotechnology, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Sushko A.B.;

- Candidate of Veterinary Sciences Kucheryavenko R.A.;

- Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, senior research assistant Zakharyev A.V., Kharkiv State Zooveterinary Academy;

- Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, independent consultant Petrik M.V.,

- technical consultant in the field of cattle farming, veterinarian Timbay R.;

- veterinarian Deshchenko A.S.;

- veterinarian Babiyov N.N.;

- CEOs of the company and structural subdivisions of the LLC "Vetsintez".

On April 20, the practical part of the conference took place, with a visit to the production facility and laboratory of the LLC "Vetsintez". At the facility our guests got acquainted with the process of production of veterinary medicines, and saw with their own eyes how the international standards ISO, GMP, GMP + are met.

Also, the participants of the conference visited the Kharkiv State Zooveterinary Academy, where the practical part was held, which included master classes on pathological autopsy (candidate of veterinary sciences of Kharkiv State Zooveterinary Academy Zakharyev A.V.) and a master class on hoof clearance (candidate of veterinary sciences, specialist in dairy farming Petrik M.V.)
