DECAVIT FORTE (solution for oral use)

Description

Light pink to dark pink liquid with a specific odour of its components, slight sedimentation and opalescence may occur. 

Ingredients 

1 ml of the feed mixture contains:

- vitamin A (retinol acetate) (3a672b)                  - 20,000 IU;

- vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) (3a671)                - 2,000 IU;

- vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) (3a835)                - 60.0 μg;

- vitamin E (α-tocopherol acetate) (3a700)        - 30.0 mg;

- propylene glycol (13.11.1)                                        - 25.0 mg;

- vitamin C (ascorbic acid) (3a311)                        - 20 mg;

- calcium pantothenate (vitamin B5) (3a841)        - 8.0 mg;

- vitamin K3 (menadione) (3a710)                        - 4.0 mg;

- vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride) (3a820) - 4.0 mg;

- vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) (3a831)     - 4.0 mg;

Pharmacological properties

DECAVIT FORTE is a combined multivitamin feed mixture, the effect of which is determined by its composition.

Vitamin A (retinol acetate) supports the structure of the epithelium of the mucous membranes, the organ of vision, increases the body's resistance and resistance to infectious diseases, stimulates growth, reproductive function of females and males, prevents fetal resorption and defects in its development.

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) stimulates absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the intestine and their reabsorption from primary urine, synthesis of calcitonin, proteins of organic matrix of bone tissue and its mineralisation, maintains calcium and phosphorus homeostasis, influences formation and functional maturity of fetal organs.

Vitamin E (α-tocopherol acetate) is a natural antioxidant, prevents the formation of peroxide compounds, protects cell membranes from destruction by lipid peroxidation products, activates enzymes of the antioxidant system, myo- and haemoglobin synthesis, prevents infertility, has a positive effect on fetal development, prevents myodystrophy, white-muscle disease, and in chickens, ducklings and turkeys – encephalomalacia and exudative diathesis.

Vitamin K3 (methadione), affecting the synthesis of prothrombin, proconvertin and thromboplastin, plays an important role in blood coagulation, prevents the development of haemorrhagic diathesis.

Vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride) is a part of enzymes – carboxylase, transcatalase, pyruvate decarboxylase, which are involved in the functioning of the Krebs cycle, carbohydrate and protein metabolism, prevents the development of cortico-cerebral necrosis.

Vitamin B5 (calcium pantothenate) is necessary for synthesis of coenzyme A (CoA), which plays a leading role in carbohydrate and fat metabolism, Krebs cycle functioning, synthesis of citric acid, acetyl-choline, steroid hormones, bile acids, fatty acid oxidation, metabolism of short-chain fatty acids in ruminant stomachs. 

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) is a prosthetic group in the composition of enzymes, under the influence of which amino acids and fat are synthesised, and is involved in the synthesis of adrenaline and norepinephrine, serotonin, histamine and nucleic acids. 

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) is involved in haematopoiesis, synthesis of methionine and choline, nucleic acids, has lipotropic effect, stimulates liver protein synthesis function, activates synthesis of proteins, retinol.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) stimulates iron absorption and its incorporation into the heme molecule, erythrocyte maturation, collagen formation, ensures integrity of vascular walls and prevents haemorrhages, stimulates synesthesia of corticosteroids in the adrenal glands, thyroid, pancreatic and gonadal hormones.

L-lysine is an essential amino acid, participates in mineral, nitrogen and carbohydrate metabolism.

Application

Prevention of A-, D-, E-, K- and hypovitaminosis of group B, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis, uric acid and haemorrhagic diathesis, rickets, osteodystrophy, encephalomalacia, muscular dystrophy, corticocerebral necrosis, perosis, anaemia in farm and domestic animals and poultry. DECAVIT FORTE increases nonspecific resistance, productivity, reproductive function, normalises metabolism, accelerates recovery of animals after diseases and stresses, stimulates growth and development of animals, prevents embryonic mortality.

Dosage

Administer orally with drinking water daily at a dose per 1 litre of drinking water for 3-8 days:

- chickens, turkeys, ducks, quails, parent stock before laying – 0.25 - 0.5 ml, during laying - 0.5-1.0 ml;

- chickens, broilers, turkeys, ducklings, quail up to 21 days of age and pullets – 0.25 - 0.5 ml;

- broilers, turkeys, ducks, quail over 3 weeks old — 1-1.5 ml;

- decorative poultry – 0.25-0.5 ml.

Orally with drinking water (milk) once every 5 days:

- calves up to one month of age – 5 ml, with milk from 3-5 to 30 days of age,

- dry cows – 20-25 ml with water 3-4 weeks before pregnancy;

- lactating cows – 25-30 ml with water in the first three weeks of lactation,

- gestating sows – 4-5 ml, with water in the last month of pregnancy,

- lactating sows – 7.5 ml, with water until piglets are weaned;

- ewes and pregnant does – 1.5-2 ml, with water, in the last month of pregnancy,

- lactating ewes and does – 2.5 ml with water, in the first month of lactation,

- foal mares – 7.5 ml with water, in the last month of foaling,

- lactating mares – 10-12.5 ml, with water, in the first month of lactation, 

- lambs, kids – 0.5 ml, with milk, in the first 30 days,

- piglets weighing 6-12 kg, with water, once, 1.25-1.50 ml 5 days before weaning and 1.5-2 ml 2-3 times within 10-15 days after weaning.

- Dogs, cats, fur-bearing animals – 0.25-0.5 ml.

None.

Packaging

Neutral glass vials of NS-1, NS-2, USP-1 type, closed with rubber stoppers under aluminium caps of 10, 50, 100 and 200 ml.

Polymeric containers (vials) of 1 and 5 litres, 10 and 25 litres.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry dark place out of the reach of children at 5-25 °С.

Shelf life of the feed mixture is 2 years. 

The opened bottle of feed mixture must be used within 7 days.
