DESCRIPTION

Oily liquid, colorless or yellowishcolor.

COMPOSITION

Each 1 ml contains active ingredient:
Ivermectin – 10.0 mg

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

ATC vet QP54AA, avermectins(QP54AA01, Ivermectin).
The active ingredient is Ivermectin, which relates to compounds, produced bymicroorganisms of Streptomices avermitis. The mechanism of action of thepreparation on the parasite is that Ivermectin stimulates excretion ofgamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which binds to specific receptors on nerveendings, increasing membrane permeability to chloride ions and blocking thetransmission of nerve – muscle impulses, causing the paralysis and death of theparasite.
The preparation “Ivermecvet 1%” has a high efficiency and a wide spectrum ofaction (insecticidal, acaricidal and nematodal activity), and relatively lowtoxicity to warm-blooded animals.

INDICATIONS

Treatment and prevention ofdiseases of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs caused by:

Cattle:

gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodiasis (adult and larval stages) –Ostertagia spp., Haemonchus placei, Cooperia spp., Trichostrongylus, olderstages of Dictyocaulus viviparous, Nematodirus spp., gadflies Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum; itch mite Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes bovis; lice Haematopinus eurysternus.

Sheep and goats:

gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodiases (adult and larval stages) –Ostertagia spp., Haemonchus contortus, Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp.,Oesophagostonum spp., Nematodirus spp., Chabertia ovina, Trichuris ovis; adultand larval stages (4th stage) Dictyocaulus filarial, Protostrongylusspp.; itch mite Sarcoptes ovis; sheep keds Melophagus ovenus.

Pigs:

gastrointestinal nematodiases (adults and larval stages) – Ascaris suum,Hyostrongylus rubidus, Oesophagostomum spp., only the adult stage –Strongyloides ransomi; pulmonary nematodiases (only adult stages) Metastrongylus spp., lice Haematopinus suis; itch mite Sarcoptes suis.

DOSAGE

Used once in the doses:
- Cattle – 1.0 ml per 50 kg of body weight, subcutaneously in the shoulderarea;
- Sheep, goats – 0.5 ml per 25 kg of body weight, subcutaneously;
- Pigs – 1.0 ml per 33 kg of body weight, subcutaneously in the neck area.

The dose should be carefullycalculated for pigs weighing less than to 16 kg.

CONTRAINDICATION

Do not use for animals with hypersensitivity to ivermectin.
Do not use for weak, exhausted and sick animals.
Do not use in animals with renal and hepatic impairment.
Do not use in cows during lactating period and also 28 days before calving.
Do not use simultaneously with other anthelmintic agents.
Do not use for dogs.

PRECAUTIONS

Slaughtering of animals for meat is permitted after 28 days (cattle, sheep, goats) and after 21 days (pigs) after the last treatment.

HOW SUPPLIED

Ampoules made of neutral glassof 1 ml. Vials of neutral glass of 10, 20, 50, 100 ml, closed by a rubber stopper and sealed with analuminum cover. Secondary package: cartons.

STORAGE

Store in a dry, dark, inaccessible to children place at temperature from 10°C to 25°C, in manufacturer container, on shelves or tiers (up to three).
Shelf life – 2 years.
