CHARACTERS

A light-rose to dark-rose-colored liquid with specific odor of the components.

COMPOSITION

Each 1 mL contains (mg):
- butaphosphane - 100 mg.
- cyanocobalamin (Vitamin В12) - 0.05 mg.
Other substance: water for injection.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Cyanophor is a combination drug the action of which is conditional upon the components included therein.

Butaphosphane replenishes the body with phosphor; stimulates metabolism processes; normalizes the level of a stress hormone cortisol (hydrocortisone); accelerates blood glucose utilization; activates energy metabolism; improves the liver function; increases nonspecific resistance of the body; activates locomotor activity of the heart muscle and skeletal muscles; and promotes bone tissue formation.

Cyanocobalamin stimulates blood formation or hematopoiesis; activates creatine synthesis, lipometabolism or fat metabolism, methionine biosynthesis; and normalizes digestion process.

INDICATIONS

Cyanophor is used for the purposes of prevention and treatment of animals and poultry in the event of the necessity to normalize metabolism; improve general resistance, productivity; accelerate growth and development.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Cyanophor is administered once daily intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intravenously (slowly); in poultry, it is given orally in the drinking water for 4 to 5 days.

Single doses of the drug (mL per animal):

- horses and cattle: 10 to 25;

- foals and calves: 5 to 12;

- sheep and goats: 2.5 to 8;

- lambs and kids: 1.5 to 2.5;

- pigs: 2.5 to 10;

suckling piglets and gilts: 1 to 2.5;

- dogs: 0.5 to 5;

- cats and fur-bearing animals: 0.5 to 2.5;

- laying hens and broilers: 2 to 3 mL per liter of the drinking water;

- chickens and replacements: 1 to 1.5 mL per liter of the drinking water

In the event of a chronic clinical course as well as in healthy animals, half a dose of the drug specified above is administered. Whenever required, a repeated course of treatment is conducted at an interval of between 5 days and 14 days.

HOW SUPPLIED

10-mL, 20-mL, 50-mL; and 100-mL neutral glass vials closed by a rubber stopper and sealed with aluminum crimp. Secondary package: cartons.

STORAGE

Store at a dry place protected from light at between 5ºС and 25ºС. Keep out of reach of children.
