Vetsintez received GMP + B1 certificate
Vetsintez,
LLC is the leading producer of veterinary preparations and fodder additives in
the Ukrainian market.
Focusing
on the export of products to the European Union, as well as in connection with
the tightening of the rules of import of feed and ingredients to the European
market, the company's management decided to introduce the GMP+ standard at the
enterprise.
GMP+
is a standard that is designed to ensure the safety of various feeds,
ingredients, premixes, animal feed, and feed additives, while the requirements
of the standard cover the entire chain from the moment of production of feed
and feed ingredients to the moment of receipt of the product by the consumer,
including the entire logistics chain of movement of raw materials and product.
Development
and implementation of the system had been started with comprehensive training
of personnel in General requirements to the feed safety management system.
The
HACCP team, the validation team was created at the enterprise. Also, the group
of experts was trained on the subject: "Internal audit in accordance with
the GMP+ feed safety scheme".
The
company's specialists are constantly improving their skills at the "GMP+
Academy". GMP+ Academy Diploma is considered the highest level of
knowledge in the field of feed safety.
As
part of the preparation for Certification, the company's employees have done a
lot of work on the number of documented procedures development, the study of
the requirements of the European feed legislation, the introduction of programs
of preconditions.
Thanks
to the well-coordinated work of specialists, the identification of hazards
affecting the safety of feed additives and the determination of their
permissible level, the establishment of critical control points, as well as
general and specific control measures, the preparation of a monitoring plan
with all planned measurements, analyses, and observations were carried out.
In
January 2018, the "Vetsintez" company successfully passed the
Certification for compliance with the international standard of feed safety,
and received a GMP+B1 Certificate "Production, trade and services".
This
audit was conducted by an auditor from the Czech office of "Guardis International
Certifications" company, who checked carefully the documents of the management
system, the enterprise infrastructure and production features.
In
2019, during the Supervisory audit, the company once again confirmed compliance
with the feed safety system, as well as received a GMP+ B3 Certificate
"Trade, collection, storage and transshipment".
GMP+
Certification shows the high quality of production control, and professionalism
of employees, as well as a guarantee and proof that the company complies with
international standards, including EU regulatory requirements.
